About Us

We’re Silver Films, founded in 1996 by producer Janey de Nordwall, with commercials director Richard Oliver joining in 2006.

Our work has always been noted for its high production value as well as its ability to touch an audience.

We started off producing commercials & promos in the computer games industry working directly with marketing departments.

Since then we have produced & directed many effective commercials for advertising agencies creating international campaigns. We have worked with brands in most sectors including retail, food, finance, entertainment and government departments.

From 2000 – 2003 we produced 4 short films. In 2002 we won the BAFTA for Best Short Film with ‘About a Girl’ and all of the films continue to be screened and sold worldwide.
